I was hit in the back several times from people standing right behind me drinking and swearing. Our table was so close my child could almost touch the bar! Not okay that they sat us in the bar on a Friday night with all the local drinkers.
She took us into the bar area and sat us right next to the bar. Upon arriving the hostess and manger were trying to figure out where to seat us. Made reservations, which is the only way. Went for a birthday celebration with my family on a Friday night. Also, the place was cold with no festive atmosphere. Not fair, given that I paid the same amount of money everyone paid. I had to ask the waitress for some cheesecake and she brought me one slice of plain cheesecake without having the chance to choose between the two or 3 types they were serving earlier. The big issue is that they didn't bother to put more slices after they were gone. Earlier they had some slices of cheesecakes, but they were gone after ten minutes.
I wonder if they were trying to save money during a holiday like Easter? For desserts they had cookies and little muffins you can buy at any cheap store. He turned them on at the end of the day, when they were about to close. The guy at the carving station had all heating lamps off for the whole time I was there. In the buffet room the fans were on just above the food and the warmers under the food containers were off. Plus, the food was cold - eating low quality food and especially cold food was disgusting. Please, serve better food everyday, but in particular for the holidays. Truly low quality for the price and considering that it was Easter, there is no excuse. First, the quality of the food was terrible.
I usually love places on lakes or on the beach, but this one has been truly the worst experience I had in my life in many ways. I recently tried the Easter brunch at this place and I was totally disappointed.
